Zodiac signs have been used for centuries. The Babylonians separated the zodiac into 12 signs around 1500 BC. The zodiac signs consists of the constellations. For example, if you were born between January 20 and February 18 you would be an Aquarius. The signs are determined by the constellation the Earth rotated past in that period of time.
Many people associate horoscopes with Zodiac signs. That is partly true. Horoscopes use Zodiac signs to make ‘predictions’ about the future. Zodiac signs are determined by the ‘cosmic position’ at the time and date of your birth. Many people believe Zodiac signs determine your personality and traits. People who are Pisces are kind and caring. They are easily taken advantage of, and are also very forgiving.
Some people believe in using your zodiac signs to find love. People research other zodiac signs to see which one matches their personality or one that is ‘compatible’ with their own sign. For example, an Aquarius would be compatible with a person whose sign is Aries. There is even a popular Spanish game show on Telemundo called 12 Corazones. Twelve contestants, men and women, go on the show and represent the 12 Zodiac signs. The players participate in games, conversations, and elimination rounds. There is also an astrologist, who talks about zodiac personality traits and also gives love advice. The main idea of the show is to match men and women.
