It is important for schools to have safe spaces for queer students and allies. Fortunately, DMHS has one it is called SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Alliance). SAGA is a safe space for queer students and allies.
A student’s mind can only hold so much, which is why they get weekends off but sometimes that’s not enough. Field trips are another way to have students feel more relieved as well as an educational experience. So why not have more?

The Sexuality and Gender Alliance, also known as SAGA, is a club for LGBTQ+ and allies to meet and socialize every Thursday at DMHS. SAGA is led and was founded by Lauren Lyon, and she says, “It's important so that LGBTQIA+ students have a space at school to create connections and be their authentic selves.” LGBTQ+ students that attend SAGA meet every Thursday and share new things about themselves with their peers and Lauren.

Homework has been a big argument between teachers and students for a while. Students continuously don't want the homework they are given, and teachers keep giving it. Society thinks giving homework is a necessity for a child to have a good, worthwhile education. Is homework really a factor in good education?
