Stars seem white to the naked eye when we are on Earth and looking at them, but when looking at a picture taken from space it shows that the stars actually have colors. Stars can actually come in almost every shade of the rainbow.

Stars produce light, which causes light waves to happen. Light can be seen in different colors depending on the wavelength of light, and that same wavelength can change the temperature of the star.

Pop art was first invented around 1950. It was a small style of art at the time and wasn’t very popular until the 1960s. Some pop artists would even go around the city and vandalize walls and alleys. Zodiac signs have been used for centuries. The Babylonians separated the zodiac into 12 signs around 1500 BC. The zodiac signs consists of the constellations. For example, if you were born between January 20 and February 18 you would be an Aquarius. The signs are determined by the constellation the Earth rotated past in that period of time.

    In the Denver Animal Shelter (DAP) they home 6,000 abandoned and lost pets each year. There are about 20 or more animal shelters in Colorado. In Denver, there are about 7 animal shelters. How many animals a year end up in shelters, and what happens to the ones that aren’t adopted? How many of these animals get adopted or go back to their original homes? What can we do to help animals that nobody wants to adopt?

        Philosophy was one of if not the most important things to come out of Ancient Greece. Almost all of society today was built of the first philosophers and philosophical concepts.  If we listen to some of even the oldest philosophical concepts we could improve how our society functions as a whole. Even though most people credit Socrates as one of the first philosophers, there were actually philosophers for multiple centuries before him. This is “Pre-Socratic” philosophy. It mainly started by people theorizing about religion and concepts that would become the base of philosophy for the next multiple centuries.

Tyler Okonma aka “Tyler the Creator” was born on March 6th, 1991 in Ladera Heights, CA. Not only is he a big success alone, but he is also a part of a rap group known as Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (AKA Golf Wang or Wolf Gang).  They released their first album in 2008, and Tyler decided he wanted to start his solo career so he went on to record his own album.

This may seem like some sort of odd question to ask but what is string theory? I apologize if I am asking you (or any other teachers) this question again, but I am being serious this time. I have heard of it but most of the time it is glossed over as some sort of complex topic. But every time I have heard about it, I never really get an exact answer on what it is. Most of the time when I ask about what it is I see people struggling to even really give an answer despite it being an interesting topic. Due to the lack of information about what it really is, I will attempt to give a (simplified) answer to this question and cover the basics of what forms this theory.

        Owls are a group of birds called Strigiformes. Strigiformes are divided into two different groups, also known as families. One group is called Tytonidae. The owls that are in Tytonidae have heart-shaped faces. The other group is called Strigidae, that with all the other owl species that have round faces. There are about 250 species of owls in the world. Some common owl species are barn owls, snowy owls, and eagle owls.
