Education is really important, but are the types of things that students are learning in school important? How much of what students learn do they use in their adult life?

A natural disaster impacted Syria and Turkey harshly on Feb 6 as more than 36,000 people died in total in an extremely destructive 7.8 magnitude earthquake which is almost one of the worst on the magnitude scale. Although this is not one of the worst earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, it still affected millions of people.

Period 3 Art class is loud and causes headaches, say many of the students there. However, does this really bother the ones trying to create?

Denver Montessori Junior High Presents "The Jungle Book", by Marisol Kennedy

February 3rd, 2023 the DMHS farm school put on a musical: The Jungle Book, based on the story by Rudyard Kipling, with music by George Bruns, and directed and choreographed by Robin Yokel, the theater teacher at DMHS. There were about 100 friends and family members in the audience and 24 students performed (including actors, tech, light and curtains). The cast had rehearsed every Wednesday since late August until the show on February 3rd.

Bob Lazar, a human interest piece by Rowan Sanderka

Bob Lazar is an American physicist who claims to have worked at area 51. He claims to have worked in a section of the base titled S4, which contained extraterrestrial technology.

Section S4 has one of the highest levels of security at area 51 and is a 15-mile drive from the main airforce base. Bob Lazar states, “Nine interstellar spacecraft were housed at the S4 facility and have been used in a reverse engineering program for ten years prior to my introduction to the program.”
